八塊磚頭，建崑崙山  Eight bricks, built Kunlun Mountains

當初阿公開始建廟，Grandfather was the original temple builder!!

第一次，三輪貨車,運磚塊上山，  The first time, the three-wheel truck transported bricks up the hill,

但到了山下..當時已經沒車路可以上山， But the foot of the mountain, At that time there were no car-road up the mountain,

貨車把磚塊丟在山下， The Truck to throw bricks at the foot of the mountain,

過幾天後..阿公覺得再等下去不是辦法， After a few days; Grandfather did not want to wait any longer

不得以阿公用扁擔，自己肩挑上山， Grandfather used a pole carried bricks up the hill
一邊四塊磚，Side of the four bricks,

兩邊共八塊，Both sides get eight bricks,

阿公把磚塊挑上山，Grandpa picked the brick up the mountain,

一上午來回二、三趟就已經中午了，

Morning back and forth ,two or three times Already noon

阿公心想 Grandpa thought 連磚塊都這麼困難，

Even the bricks are so difficult, 何況是建廟；

Not to mention the building temple;

放棄嗎？不！ Give up? No!

後來一邊改放八塊， Later, while replaced by eight,

兩邊十六塊 Both sides get sixteen bricks.

阿公心想 Grandpa thought （挑多一點比較快達成目標），

(Pick a little more quickly achieve their goals),

可是阿公到了半山腰，But Grandpa to the hillside,

因為山路陡峭，Because of the steep mountain road,

所有磚塊都滑落了， All the bricks have fallen,

真是愈速則不達； Indeed !!! haste brings no success;...

這是點滴滋味在心頭； This is a bit of feelings;

剛開始這建廟的一磚一瓦， The beginning of this temple, a brick and tile,

都是阿公肩挑上山的。  The grandfather hands are up the mountain.
