土地公 Thou  Te  Gong  二月初二 , 八月十五日 , 10月12日 10th moon 12 th day

福德正神或稱土地公，Fu De Tian Shen or ThouTeGong

土地公是管理土地之神。ThouTeGong is the God of Land Management.

民間以其造福鄉里德澤萬民

ThouTeGong
make the benefit
of the village and Deese peoples

所以尊稱為「福德正神」 。 Therefore, known
as " Fu De Tian Shen."

客家人則稱「伯公」。Hakka people called
"Pek Gong".

他原來就是「土地神」 ，He was formerly the
"God of Land"也就是一種 自然神。 Is a natural God.

中國自古代起就已經祭祀地神了。

人們認為有土地才能夠生長五穀，People think  there are land are able to grow grain,

有了五谷才能養活人類。With the grain to feed
humans.

對于土地漸漸的產生感恩之心

land as gods.

台灣各地的土地公，真是多得無法計算，

無論是走在街頭巷尾，田間鄉野，

到處都可看到伯公廟， Can be seen Pek Gong Temple around everywhere.

可以認定伯公廟之多，有如天上星辰，

There are Pek Gong Temples such as the stars
of heaven,

所以有「田頭田尾土地公」的俗諺。

So
the "Thou  Te  Gong are
everywhere in farms" the proverb.
